HY6000 Injected Sealant is a putty-like product made from fibers and sealant. Water is essential in daily life and industrial processes, giving rise to a wide variety of pumps. Pump sealing is a critical concern for both manufacturers and users, as experience has shown that leakage issues are far more complex than they appear.

Water leaks from pump seals can reduce the lifespan of the pump and other components. Leaked water entering the bearing housing along the shaft can contaminate the bearing lubricant and oil film, causing premature bearing failure. Data shows that even 0.002% moisture in the lubricant can shorten bearing life by 48%, and 51% of motor failures are caused by bearing failure.

4: Initial Installation and Ongoing Maintenance

4.1 Remove the packing or mechanical seal from the original pump, install a valve at the flushing water port, keep the valve closed, and retain it for future maintenance.

Clean the pump shaft or sleeve, and install 1 gaskets on both the inner and outer sides of the packing chamber. Then add the packing material.

4.3 allows refilling packing during operation without shutdown. When packing wear or seal leakage occurs, connect a hydraulic gun to the reserved valve port, open the valve, and inject a small amount of fresh packing until leakage stops.
