HY7240 PTFE-Encapsulated Spring-Loaded Seals

HY7240 PTFE-Encapsulated Spring-Loaded Seals

A V-spring continuously provides preload, automatically compensating for seal wear, shaft misalignment, and thermal expansion/contraction gaps. Features bidirectional high- and low-pressure sealing with static/dynamic adaptability, suitable for low-speed, high-speed, reciprocating, and rotary applications.

Material: Precision-engineered combination of a high-molecular sealing lip (pure PTFE or filled with glass fiber, carbon powder, graphite, bronze-modified PTFE) and a stainless steel V-spring (304, 316, Hastelloy).

Technical Specifications:

Pressure: 0~35 MPa

Temperature: -200~260 ℃

Chemical Compatibility: pH 0–14; resistant to most strong acids, strong bases, strong solvents, and corrosive media.

Product Features:

Continuous preloading via V-shaped springs automatically compensates for seal wear, shaft eccentricity, and thermal expansion/contraction gaps. Featuring PTFE's full range of high/low-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, low friction, and self-lubrication—without creep or cold flow, aging, or hardening. Provides bidirectional sealing under high and low pressure, suitable for both static and dynamic applications, including slow/fast speeds, reciprocating, and rotary operations. Installs in narrow grooves with a service life far exceeding standard rubber seals.

Applications: Chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, power generation, hydraulic cylinders, valves, pump bodies, food & pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, new energy, aerospace, and other extreme high/low temperature, highly corrosive, or high-pressure sealing scenarios.
