HY8600 Plate Heat Exchanger Gasket
Manufactured by molding and vulcanizing specialty rubber materials such as Nitrile Rubber (NBR), EPDM, Fluororubber (FKM), and Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR). For highly corrosive applications, PTFE-coated gaskets are available.
Material: Molded and vulcanized from specialty rubber compounds such as Nitrile Rubber (NBR), EPDM, Fluorocarbon Rubber (FKM), and Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber (HNBR). For highly corrosive applications, PTFE-encapsulated gaskets are available.
Technical Specifications:
Pressure: 0~2.5 MPa
Temperature: -40 to 180 °C (ranges vary by elastomer; FKM can reach up to 220 °C)
Chemical Compatibility: Suitable for circulating water, ethylene glycol, acid/alkali solutions, heat transfer oil, steam, and various process heat exchange media; resistant to corrosion and aging from these media.
Product Features:
Precision-machined to match gasket groove profiles for secure clamp-style installation that resists displacement. Features excellent elasticity, minimal compression set, and tight sealing to prevent leaks. Resists thermal cycling aging, water pressure pulsation, and swelling; designed for repeated assembly and disassembly. Select the appropriate rubber compound based on media type to suit high/low temperatures, acidic/alkaline environments, and food-grade applications, effectively preventing cross-contamination between plates and external leakage.
Applications: Sealing areas for plate heat exchangers in chemical, petroleum, metallurgy, power plant heating, central air conditioning and HVAC, food and pharmaceuticals, water treatment, new energy heat exchange units, etc.
